In Celebration of Black History Month, and in association with the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida, The Florida Sun Newspaper and Regions Bank are presenting “Ride To Success”, a Small Business Seminar for the Central Florida community. This event will be held on Friday, Feb. 17, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., at the National Entrepreneur Center, NEC, 3201 E. Colonial Dr., Suite A-20, Orlando, FL 32803 . This complimentary morning seminar will include continental breakfast, and features several local pro-fessionals with expertise in various areas of business and finance designed to help small businesses get on the right track, and “Ride to Success!” Many aspects of small business success will be covered, including “Improving Finan-cial Accounting,” featuring a tutorial on QuickBooks, to help in managing finances. Another Topic to be covered is “Learning How to write a Business Plan” and “Making Your Business Credit-Worthy.” Finally, it doesn’t do any good to run a successful business if you don’t protect your assets. This event will also cover how businesses can leave a legacy, and how to protect your assets through many of the financial vehicles available through Regions Bank. Living Trusts, Annuities, savings, 401ks, and other affordable asset protection and investment options that can create multi-generational wealth will be discussed. This event is designed to help African American small business owners get the information needed to not only grow their business, but to manage better, manage smarter, and enjoy the ride.
